As the HRBP for India,UAE & Srilanka you will be a key member of the APAC HR leadership team. You will report to the Regional Head of HR-APAC who is based in Singapore and work closely with the leaders in the SWO IN India,UAE,Srilanka. You’ll seek to enhance the performance of the business by partnering with a series of client groups to provide end to end business partnership support.? This will range from strategic support and challenging routine HR processes, organisational design work, and achievement of strategic business initiatives, talent management and complex employee relations as well as providing proactive advice, support and challenge to managers.
Accountable for:-
- To be the overall function lead in providing business partnership support to SoftwareOne for Federation 11 and Functional Team.
- Partner with country leadership teams and functional heads in providing consultancy advice, developing people strategies and initiatives, change management, capability building including deployment of HR processes and programs in the locations to achieve business objectives.
- Responsible for the full spectrum of HR Lifecycle in all the countries you are responsible for and implementation of the HR initiatives.
- You will own the SWO’s approach to employee relations (e.g. disciplinary, grievance, performance management, redundancy/restructuring etc.) including development of processes, templates etc. to ensure consistency and strong management of cases.? You will oversee the tracking of employee relations cases looking across the business for themes and trends considering what interventions might be appropriate to address these.
- You will understand current and future talent requirements and development plans and will work in conjunction with all the team to roll out talent initiatives.
- You will own employee learning and development initiatives partnering internally and externally to build employee capability and provide career development opportunities
- You will champion continuous improvement across the team ensuring all members stay up to date with legal updates and other best practice developments in HR.
- You will collaborate with the rest of the People and Culture team on different projects.
- You will help implement Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives across the business that will not only help the wider community but are also designed to develop employee skills and engagement.

Essential skills and experience:-
- Provide advice and guidance to managers and employees on a range of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local employment laws and best practices.
- Support the development and implementation of HR strategies, initiatives, and programs that align with the company’s vision, values, and objectives.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, talent management, employee relations, and offboarding.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, such as senior management, business leaders, vendors, and partners
- Drive a culture of diversity, inclusion, and engagement, and foster a positive and collaborative work environment
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics and data, and provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
- Keep abreast of the latest trends and developments in HR and the industry, and identify opportunities for innovation and best practices
- Diploma / Higher Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource or equivalent, and/or pursuing post graduate qualification.
- At least 15 years of experience in generalist HR functions, with 5 years or more in a management roleAn adaptable and cooperative attitude, with the ability to handle uncertainty and work well in a rapid and complex environment
- A demonstrable history of success in HR business partnership??
- A broad HR experience across a diverse customer base, with experience of working with different cultures?
- Confidence in dealing with employee relations and an understanding of employment legislation?
- A persuasive and engaging style?
- A demonstrated understanding of the science behind learning and development and some examples of the art of how to make it work in the real world?
