As a Human Resources Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making within the HR department. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around collecting, analyzing, and interpreting human resources data to provide actionable insights to support various HR functions. You will collaborate closely with HR leadership and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver reports, dashboards, and predictive models to enhance HR processes and initiatives.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:-
- Collect, organize and analyze HR related data from various sources including HRIS, employee surveys, performance evaluations, compensation tools or ATS
- Collect, aggregate and report on data for US required filings
- Utilize statical techniques and data visualization tools to interpret trends, patterns and correlations with the HR data
- Ensure accuracy, completeness and integrity of HR data by implementing data validation processes, conducting regular audits, and addressing data discrepancies or inconsistencies with the HRIS leader
- Develop and maintain HR metrics, dashboards, and reports to track key performance indicators, such as employee turnover rates, recruitment metrics, diversity statistics and workforce demographics or other
- Create visually appealing and insightful reports that effectively communicate HR analytics to key stakeholders, including senior management and department heads
- Collaborate with HR leadership to identify opportunities for predictive modeling and forecasting to anticipate workforce trends, attrition risks and talent management needs
- Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, innovation in HR data analytics, recommending and implementing solutions to optimize data driven decision-making
Basic Requirements:-
- 3+ years of Human Resources data processing, as a business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience
- 2+ years’ experience with database management systems in human resources or workforce analytics
- Experience with HRIS and ATS platforms, in particular UKG
- 2+ years’ experience with Excel, data analyst tools, and data visualization tools
- 2+ years’ experience participating in continuous improvement projects to scale and improve processes with measurable results.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Prior experience working with a US based company.
- Flexibility to work several evenings a week to connect with US colleagues.
Preferred Qualifications:-
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with a concentration in statistics, data science, computer science or related field.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Prior experience with Tableau a plus
- Ability to communicate complex data concepts and insights effectively to non-technical stake-holders.
- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and techniques for predictive modeling is desirable.
- Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
