Capri Global has appointed Vivek Jain as its new chief human resource officer (CHRO), effective from February. He is renowned for his expertise in driving organisational transformation and change management.
Prior to joining Capri, Jain held a distinguished 15-year tenure at Kotak Mahindra Bank, serving as its senior EVP and head-HR across various business verticals.
During his stint at Kotak, Jain played a crucial role in fostering synergy among various teams, including investment bankers, research analysts, private equity-fund managers, wealth bankers, corporate bankers, asset reconstruction and retail assets teams, within an entrepreneurial-driven work culture.
Backed with over two decades of global strategic HR leadership experience, Jain has worked across diverse sectors such as banking, fintech, pharma, IT, ITES, and consulting. His extensive professional background includes stints at Genpact and Lupin Pharmaceutical.
Jain started his career with Lupin as a management trainee in the year 1998, post his MBA. He headed the company’s HR department at Mandideep, Bhopal for two years.
After being with Lupin for almost eight years, Jain joined Genpact in the year 2006 as its AVP-HR. In this capacity, he managed the company’s regional HR teams at Delhi, Dublin, Dalian & Manila for Cadbury, Serco, Pfizer and eTrade BPO units.
In the year 2008, he moved to Kotak, as its senior executive vice president-human resources, where he spent over 15 years of his professional journey.
Jain holds a master’s degree in business administration from the International Mangement Institute (IMI). Additionally, he’s a PhD Scholar in human resources development from IMI.
Being an apprentice at the National Defence Academy as Caddet, Jain is interested in air pistol shooting. Additionally, he’s passionate about writing and reading articles and coaching people to help with their career growth.
