The thoughts are really inspiring. Would look forward to some thing being written by T.V. Rao sir about 1) Why teaching should be taken as a career with full seriousness right from day 1 so as to not only get self satisfied but fulfill the expectations of employers and society at large.
2) Best practices in teaching profession (not the teaching techniques)

Arti, don’t bother too much about appreciation of being human. We have to learn to enjoy being human irrespective of appreciation. HR roles when combined with administration always swallow the good part of work we do. What keeps us going is our conscious and apprecaiton by at least some. We should seek some 360 feedabck to become more sensitive to others. I just had a long conversation with a friend of myne who was pointing out all the wrong things done by one of the candidates I have included in the book a a Effective Person. Like all drugs have side effects all good people will have some critics and dark spots. We need to be sensitive to the same

Prof. TVR, as he is generally known, is a personified example of how an HR professional can be a great contributor not only to the organization but to the society in general on human resource issues. I wish what he has said the B school academia took a note of it and amended the school syllabus with a vision of churning out future leaders from such institutions rather than general management professionals. I think India needs leaders with HR thrust in order to bring about a change in the manner human resources are handled in this country.
