CleverTap, a SaaS company headquartered in the US, has named Zeeshan Ramlan as its new global vice president & head-HR partnering and opeartions, effective immediately. Prior to this, Ramlan was associated with CoinSwitch as its senior director-human resources.
Bringing with him nearly 15 years of experience in the financial technology and IT consulting sectors, Ramlan joined CoinSwitch, a crypto platform, in the year 2021 as its director-HR. For over two years, Ramlan managed the HR gamut for the company.
His professional journey includes notable roles at Intuit and Infosys.
His longest stint was with Infosys, having joined the company in the year 2008 as its corporate HR-employees relations team. In this capacity, he managed the end-to-end execution of large-scale onboarding programmes, including background verification process and engagement activities. He also led several flagship programmes for the company such as the Petit Infusion Day, Infosys Annual Awards for Excellence, Music Concerts, Festive Celebrations as well as Health and Wellness Initiatives.
In 2011, he was elevated to the role of senior HR lead-business partner HR and held the role for over five years, till 2016. In this role, he was responsible for the company’s two large verticals HILife Healthcare Insurance and LifeScience, and India Business Unit. Through his proactive retentions, innovative problem-solving approach, strong people connect and authentic leadership, he helped the business leaders and HR team bring in their best at work.
In 2016,he joined Intuit, a software company, where he served as the global HR leader overseeing people, culture, diversity and CSR initiatives. He worked with the company till 2021, for over four years.
Ramlan’s expertise spans across recruitment, talent management, employee engagement, employee relations, compensation and benefits, talent development and rewards.
Ramlan holds a BCom degree in HRMS from St Aloysius College, an MBA degree in HR from Symbiosis International University. He also holds a PhD in HRMS from SRM University.
Passionate about social work, Ramlan is the founder of The Ramlan Foundation, dedicated to supporting less- fortunate individuals in society. Over the last seven years, the foundation has made a positive impact on over 10,000 lives. Additionally, he also authored a book titled “The Decalogue” in 2015.
